SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Nov. 5, 2026 — In its sixth year, the North Texas Job Fair witnessed 68,000 attendees and featured over 670 employers. Among them, family-owned insurance agency Empower Brokerage uniquely offers applicants the chance to work for themselves.
Taking place in August each year, the North Texas Job Fair is recognized as one of the premier events of its kind in the country. Initially held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas, the job fair drew such large crowds that organizers moved it to Rangers Ballpark to accommodate the growing demand. At the fair, Empower staff welcomed curious job-seekers to their booth and shared insights into promising careers both at the company and as an independent insurance agent.
